The common beauty of the world is breathtaking. I am grateful that I have sometimes been in the right place at the right time to photograph some of nature’s miracles so they can be shared. The vista of a landscape or the details seen in macro photography reveal the true wonders of nature to me. It is glorious whether seen up close or at a distance.

I am fromMichigan, so when I say local, that is what I mean. I have many images fromAlaska and Florida, but Michigan is my home, and always will be. The beauty and diversity of life here is completely satisfying.
